The New Arrivals Program is regionally based to allow Learning Consultants (New Arrivals) to provide consultancy and advice to schools to assist teachers in meeting the needs of newly arrived students.

EAL- New Arrivals funding is provided for an initial period of intensive English language instruction for newly arrived students.  This support is provided to enable schools to assist New Arrival students with their educational and social adjustment to schooling in Australia.
